Questions about ventillation for our propane heater in our garage?

We bought a 50,000 BTU propane heater for our one car garage. The instructions say we need 2.5 sq. feet of fresh air opening. We need to know if we put a fan in the window blowing out will that be enough to vent the bad fumes out, or do we need a source of fresh air coming in. It seems if we open the window too much or turn the fan around to blow in, we will be defeating the purpose of trying to heat the garage. We put a carbon minoxide detector out there so we will hopefully get some warning if the levels get too high. We are only using the heater when we are in the garage.

Office has a separate application for running updates. Find it and run it. I can't remember where exactly they put it, but I know some versions squirreled it away in weird places. I think I answered this same question the other day and I'll answer it again the same...who cares? I'm a stay at home mom and I love it. We can't really afford it but we manage. Why do we have this horrible smell in our bathroom?

I keep noticing a horrible smell in our bathroom, it seems to be coming from the cupboard where our gas boiler is housed and of course the water pipes. It doesn't smell like gas particularly but more like rotten eggs or stagnant water. It doesn't smell all the time. I know the smell is very similar to that when you have a dead rodent in the wall. Sony Cyber Shot questions..?

I've been using my Sony Cyber shot digital camera since receiving it last Christmas. It's been a great camera, but at times some of the photos have been really blurry.. and sharpening them with a photo editing program doesn't help. The photos that turned out blurry weren't fast moving objects or anything of the short.. it's just at random times the image captured comes out blurry/fuzzy. Another problem is the fact it's taking way too long for the camera to take the picture. Is there a way to fix this, or is this just how the camera works? For instance, during the 4th of July I was trying to take pictures of the fireworks and missed almost all of the shots because the camera took too long to snap. Maybe this can be fixed by messing around with the functions, but i've misplaced my user's guide. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

:) Weird girl symptoms :)?

For my first pregnancy, I had sore from about 5-8 weeks. For my second pregnancy, it happened immediately. And I mean my period was still 10 days away! I was a little shocked bc my husband had been out of town during the time I thought I would be ovulating, but obviously I was wrong. I tested with an early test four days before my expected period and got a very faint positive, but two lines = two lines. :)

Okay,first I lost a friend due to this really bad betrayal I wait all the time for her talk to me and when I make the first move to talk to her,she acts like shes annoyed with me I try asking her why and she doesn't tell me and just continues to skip the subject,so we haven't talked for over a week now.And this other person who I have this Ex-girlfriend who's now my friend,we got into a fight recently about something really stupid I got really mad and called her a ***** and now im really regretting and eating my words now and wish I had never said those things now because shes saying **** about me to my other friends about how pathetic and lame of a a ***** I am because this whole mess I'm avoiding her...I'm avoiding her because shes being really scary right now and im tired of fighting with her because shes been in this really bad mood..and most the things about her I said only out of anger and now I feel increasingly hurt because I'm sad and want to apologize to both of them and try to understand things,but I feel like its really worthless now...I just didnt know what to do because I feel like I lost everything because of all this short period of time how things happen...Is this a really ****** away to go?

This is a stage for teenagers to be rebellious. The best way is to sit her down and talk. Even when she is starting to pick a fight, keep you cool. Because she is thinking that you are trying to ruin her life when you really are just worried about her. I think searching the room was a little too far but a good way to do this, is maybe not having her stay out so late or have her call you if it is past 11 or you call her just to check up on her. This is just a phase. We were all teenagers once. ^^

Help! Need help finding remedies for female cat urinating around the house!!!?

Shes 1yr old female calico cat. Spayed 2 mths ago. we thought since we hadn't neutered her yet that thats why the problem was occuring. Now she's "fixed" and the urinating problem isn't. She goes on clothes, couches, her bed, our bed, and once in a while her actual litter box. I am pretty sure its nothing medical like a UTI. Tried a pheromone spray, they said helped deter the problem, with no help at all. No new pets, no new furniture, no new food; absolutely nothing new in her lifestyle or in the house. We even caught her in the act and tried "rubbing the nose in it." Gosh we are going crazy. Please anyone have any suggestions?

My vet overdosed my dog on amitriptyline....?

I went to the vet when my dog had an itchy rash on his belly. I was given a bottle of medicine and told to give it to my dog twice a day. After 10 days my dog had no relief from the itchyness, so I took him back to the vet. They looked in the bottle and realized they had put the wrong pills in the bottle. Instead of prednisone, amytriptyline was in the bottle. At the dosage of 2 a day, my dog had been ingesting a double dose of doggy antidepressants for 10 days. They flushed his little body with fluids and checked his blood. At that time they said he was fine, but he later started having seizures. Now my dog has to take medication for the rest of his life (phenobarbatol twice a day) to stop the seizures. My vet makes ME pay for these meds!!!! He did give me a one month supply for free, but I have been paying for it ever since, because they say, he might just have epilepsy, which is hereditary. His parents and his 8 puppies have no signs of epilepsy or seizures. ADVISE?

People, these are the ones who are running our country, even being elected to the White House (Clinton comes to mind). It is time for a major change in American education. With this in mind, compulsory education past 8th grade will cease. Only those who p entrance exams into 9th grade with specific grades will enter high school in the US. The remaining students will be shunted into trade schools to learn a trade to better society as its skilled craftsmen. Those who enter high school will go on to become the upper echelon of our society...our doctors, lawyers, etc.

Strawberry's and garlic?

I have plated and keep these plants indoors they started growing like mad. But in the last couple of weeks the growth has stoped and the plants are wilted and very pale.I got excited and planted a little early and have to keep indoors most of the time a few hours of sunlight a day is all they get. lke a month ago I notced these red lttle blood bumps on my legs and when I shaved my legs they all started bleeding and now I just noticed 3 moles on my body that never were there befor,2 on my legs and one on my arm and i have been getting really bad dry skin marks latley.I have a dr.appontment already but my dad said that moles come and go.but I thought they dont so can you get moles on you that you have never had befor?or should I be worried?

Okay, i reckon you need some good pointers to sort yourself out, and your life situation. Your a young and obviously bright guy whom has been unfortunate and let down by insensitive fools. That is something i would urge you to seek out a professional counseller about, like a psychoyst, say. You have a lot of pent up and conflicting thoughts and feelings-you maybe need to channel them into something more constructive, so they do not become troublesome to you (importantly), or others (less importantly). You probably need an impartial, equanimous, intervention to soothe these strong emotions when they become too much. I am sure you know of local services or help available in your locality that you could commit yourself to making progress with. I don't see how ringing a helpline is going to be practical, when they are't actually with you when/ where it is happening. Do you see my logic here? I also been through and supported others with very similar life situation. You need your abilities and potential acknowledged and freedom from this trap of anguish, i am sure you can and will make it. I bet you are well sound when become calm and rational-this is somrthing to work towards for now, and then perhaps employment and other life opportunities in long term. I hope this is a little boon of quality warm, and for want of a better term, advice for you is helpful. Very best wishes, you can beat and defeat, with right help and support, that your local mental health service is more than obliged to offer you, write some partially angry letters to them and express your views. Do pilot lights stay lite on gas fireplaces when turned off?

depends on the fireplace. If it's a woodburning fireplace with a gas flame to start it, the gas to the fireplace is totally turned off when you turn the key (and remove it to a kid safe place, I hope), so you must use a match/grill lighter to relight when the gas is turned back on. If it's a ceramic log fireplace, not designed to burn wood, it may have a pilot (which you can turn off for summer, inside the lower heat exchanger grill, looks just like a gas waterheater control set, and works just like it, too). It may be one of the newer ones, which uses a sparker to light, and doesn't have a pilot. Best way to find out is to look inside on a dark night. If you see a yellow/blue flame in there, it's a pilot.

My best friend attacked me almost a few months ago. She had mental health problems but i knew part of the problem, was she was extremely insecure over a guy that just used her and had no respect for her. She called over and over again on the day she physically aulted me. I refused to pick up her calls, she sent me a text saying lets just talk. When i told my family they called her and lost it on her, calling her everyname under the sun. My little brother who is a giant was absolutely furious swearing at her and calling her a ******** and telling her he'd kill her. He said if he saw her near our area again he'd mash up her car and told her he'd call the police on her. Her mum supposedly said that we'd really upset her and she was crying. Two days later she called me again and i was ready and called her every name under the sun, wished her dead, called her a piece of sh*t and a slag. I told her to crawl under a rock, told her i knew more people than she did and i'd get them to beat the crap out of her,and i would have done as well, anything i could think of i was furious. My little brother tried to calm me down took the phone off me and started talking to her, he told her we'd cancel the police. On the phone to me she tried to show bravado, when my brother took the phone she started crying, saying she was scared i would get people on her. He told her he'd talk me out of it, he didn't want me stooping to her level. She started crying some more saying she just wanted to speak to me, i refused to speak to her. She asked if we could speak for one last time and say our final goodbyes, i told him to put the phone down on her. She was genuinely convinced if she cried enough i would feel sorry for her and make peace, my brother had to calmly tell her "Don't you get it, she's locked you off." He left that conversation, almost feeling a little sorry for her. It was like she'd just kicked off the day she attacked me. Even after attacking me, she wanted to go again. She swore at me told me our friendship was done,spitting all venom. Then when i said ever so calmly your right, take care of yourself and started heading in the opposite direction. She panicked, and started calling me over again. I havent spoken to her since the day she tried to apologise. Do you think a) I stood up for myself well, and B my friend regretted what she did? My frien had always been manipulative and controlling, it was when i started making new friends, confident friends and goodlooking friends she became threatened. She conveniently became obsessed i was bitching about her. I think i stood my ground and thought her a lesson the day she called. My brother said she said she'd never heard me like that before. Reception Party instead of a Wedding?

so i recently married and me and my husband decided that we would just have the wedding next year for all of our friends and family.. Your fish could be suffering from ammonia or nitrite poisoning. Did you take the carbon out of your filter before treating the tank? carbon will remove the medication from the water very quickly.
