Ex pats living in Phil. What are the things that you see day to day that kill tourisim in Phil?

For me it was the almost total corruption of the police and judicial system. It is one thing to be robbed in a foreign country but add a whole new dimension when you are set up to be robbed by the police! It is a helpless feeling when the people who are supposed to protect and help tourists are actually the ones scamming them!
