I'm going atheist, convince me there's a god. ?

I was born a catholic. My father said if anything bad or upsetting comes, just pray for our father above. I've been sending gods my prayer so much; asking him to help my parents and keep them from divorcing. I try to send god a message and the foo don't take text. In other words, things haven't gotten better and my parents are divorcing. I'm crush and am Questioning god. Some please convince me otherwise or I'm going to burn my bible and Jesus portraits.
