Why is painfull to me?

so last night me and my boyfriend started having and it hurt really bad like by my hip bone but on the inside. kinda where you get cramps. we tried different positions and it still hurt. it hurt so bad i was cryin and we had to stop all together. see ive never had this happen before. what is wrong???
