Is Lady Gaga currently the Superstaar of the world?

Depends on your definition of Superstar. There are two definitions in my book. One is an extremely talented person or band and the other is a commercially successful person or band. The two rarely go hand in hand. If all you care about is how many records someone sells and that's your definition of a star, then yes she is a huge star. She is not a talented musician or singer though. She is a brilliant marketing plan and that's all. But of course people like her will always have commercial success because the average person has very little knowledge of what musical talent even is and readily buys into a marketing ploy like Lady Gaga. That’s just how it is and always will be most likely. Awards to not make a superstar, my god even Milli Vanilli won a Grammy and they weren't even a real band. Awards mean squat.
