Why did Claus von Stauffenberg's surviving son object to the movie Valkyrie?

It was reported that Claus son did not quite like the famout Tom Cruise Movie. Why? Was the movie based on a book? And did the Stauffenberg family claim rights to the story? Please enlighten me!
