Where can I find information about the history of the film program at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts?

I am a French student at the Ecole du Louvre, and I am required to make a presentation about the role cinema plays in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. I have not managed to find anything about the history of such a program, or about the technical details of the Remis Auditorium (where the films are viewed). It would be an absolute life saver if you could illuminate me : when did the BMFA opened his auditoriums? When did the museum start showing films?
