MAKE EDUCATION NON-COMPULSORY IN AMERICA?

American education is abysmal. Overcrowded clrooms, underpaid teachers and children who don't care. We have an entire generation which is semi-illiterate when they "graduate" high school who are then clogging up the colleges and universities. People, these are the ones who are running our country, even being elected to the White House (Clinton comes to mind). It is time for a major change in American education. With this in mind, compulsory education past 8th grade will cease. Only those who p entrance exams into 9th grade with specific grades will enter high school in the US. The remaining students will be shunted into trade schools to learn a trade to better society as its skilled craftsmen. Those who enter high school will go on to become the upper echelon of our society...our doctors, lawyers, etc.
